GCPA Registration & Eligibility
All players are eligible to play providing they can get into event based on their GCPA points. Event is filled and seeded based on total team points. Maximum number of teams per event is 24 Men's teams and 16 Women's teams.
Registration
1. Entry Fees: $35 per player
2. Registration & Payment must be turned in by the Wednesday at 9pm est preceding the event.
3. Late registration will not be allowed.
Day of Event Rules
1. One member of each team MUST CHECK IN between 7:00 - 7:30 AM
2. Start time is 8:00 AM. Please allow the teams in the first match to warm up on the court if present.
3. No-shows and/or late arrivals lose 1 point per minute from announced start time.
Point System & Seeding
Seeding will use the following GCPA points structure. Final determination of seeding will be at the tournament directors discretion.
1. Points earned are per player not per team.
2. Seedings are based on total team points after registration has been completed.

Tournament Format
Double elimination bracket play with a modern crossover. Double elimination until the semifinals. The final two teams in the Winners Bracket face the two teams left in the Contenders Bracket in the semis.
Pool Play if less than 12 teams.
Scoring System
The first round of the winner's bracket and the first round of the loser's bracket will be best 2 out of 3 to 11. After that, the loser's bracket will change to 1 game to 15 format while the winners bracket will continue best 2 out of 3 to 11.
The Semi-Finals and Finals will be best 2 out of 3 to 11.
If pool play due to lower than 12 teams, it will be determined the week of the event.

Time Outs
Each team is allowed one time out per game. Time outs last for 1 minute.
Etiquette and Liability
1. Each participant will be required to fill out a liability form upon registration.
2. Profanity-excessive, loud use of profanity will result in a $10 fine to be assessed any GCPA official. The player will also be assessed a loss of possession and point.
3. Abuse of equipment - players who misuse any equipment will be assessed a fine which represents replacement cost of the equipment plus $50. Player will not be allowed to participate in future events until this fee is paid in full.
4. All fines are due and payable before the player receives payment and the player will not be able to play in another GCPA event until paid in full.
5. Players are expected to make their own line calls. While this is a tournament, we still expect each player to only make 'out' calls when the ball is clearly out.
6. Player suspension for any reason will require a letter of apology before being considered for reinstatement.

Championship Event Eligibility Requirements
The Championship Event is only open to individuals who participated in at least 2 events during the 2025 season.
